Stunning Rainbow Thread Installation by Gabriel Dawe

.
Saying that Dallas-based artist Gabriel Dawe found a way to recreate rainbows indoors would probably be the best description about his Plexus installation series. Originally  from Mexico, Gabriel creates carefully built web of colored threads, composed in the rainbow color sequence.

Gabriel chooses big and open spaces for his installations. This last one was presented in the 19th century neoclassic house, called Villa Olmo, as part of the annual Miniartextil exhibition in Como, Italy. The architecture of the house provides a lot of natural light, which adds dimension and emphasizes the layering in a stunning way.
